We manufacture high-precision micro flat wires with thicknesses from 0.01 mm to 2.00 mm and widths from 0.05 mm to 5.00 mm. The tolerances are based exactly on your specifications – from ±0.001 mm in thickness, we also implement particularly tight tolerance windows for applications with the highest requirements.

Edge processing – the right version for every application

The design of the edges influences the function, safety and processability of your products – particularly with micro flat wire and profile geometries. We offer you three standardised edge shapes, manufactured with a tolerance of ±0.001 mm:

  • Natural rolled edges [NK]
    The standard version with low machining costs and a homogeneous surface – ideal for many technical applications.
  • Rolled edges [TK]
    Specially machined edges with defined a radius – for applications where controlled rounding and reduced edge loads are required.
  • Rounded edges [AK]
    Mechanically rounded edges for the highest demands on process reliability and workability – e.g. for medical devices or sensitive uses.

All versions can be implemented with the tightest tolerances of ±0.001 mm. We will be happy to advise you on which edge shape is best suited for your application.
