Alloys

Overview of alloys

The strengths of fine wires, precision flat wires and profiles can be selected according to the relevant standards or based your requirements, between soft and the maximum achievable strength of the material in question.

The tensile strength of stainless steels can be considerably increased by further thermal treatment. The materials listed are just a selection of our options.

Other alloys: Aluminium & tungsten

Jacques Allemann offers a wide range of metal materials to meet the highest demands in precision mechanics, watchmaking, electronics, medical technology and sensor technology. In addition to well-known material groups such as stainless steel, titanium, copper and cobalt alloys, the product range also includes high-purity aluminium and tungsten alloys – in thin-rolled strip, wire or as semi-finished products.

Lead-free products

Lead-free materials are becoming essential in watchmaking, jewellery and precision applications. REACH and RoHS regulations already limit lead content to 0.05% – a full ban is expected by 2030. We offer future-proof solutions: lead-free, precise and fully compliant.
