CW614N is a brass material with the material number CuZn39Pb3, also known under the trade name C38500. This free-cutting brass is characterised by excellent machinability, high dimensional accuracy and a bright finish after processing. As part of the brass material group, it is widely used in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, fittings, connectors and precision turned parts. Due to its lead content, CW614N is particularly suitable for mass production of turned components requiring tight tolerances and cost-efficient manufacturing.
