Material 304V is an austenitic stainless steel, based on 1.4301 (X5CrNi18-10 / AISI 304), produced by a special vacuum melting process that ensures exceptional purity. It provides excellent corrosion resistance, high toughness, as well as very good formability and weldability. Due to its purity, 304V offers enhanced biocompatibility, making it especially suitable for medical technology, watchmaking and precision engineering. Typical applications include surgical instruments, implant components, spring steels, miniature parts and decorative elements. With its balance of corrosion resistance, cleanliness and workability, 304V is considered a premium grade of stainless steel 304.
