The material 1.4567, also designated X3CrNiCu18-9-4, AISI 304CU or Z3CNU18-10, is an austenitic stainless steel alloyed with copper, providing excellent corrosion resistance and very good formability. The copper addition enhances resistance in reducing environments and allows improved cold forming behaviour, making 1.4567 particularly suitable for deep drawing and bending applications. It is widely used in the chemical industry, plant engineering, food processing and for decorative components where both mechanical stability and long-term corrosion resistance are required. Due to its toughness, processability and durability, 1.4567 is a versatile stainless steel for demanding applications.
